Mullah Baradar went to Iran

A Taliban spokesman said a delegation led by Mullah Baradar had traveled to Iran.

Naeem Wardak; A spokesman for the Taliban’s political office in Qatar tweeted today (Tuesday, February 27) that Mullah Baradar; The Taliban’s political deputy has arrived in Iran with his entourage.

He said the Taliban delegation would meet with Iranian officials to discuss bilateral relations, the situation of Afghan refugees in Iran, and the current political and security situation in Afghanistan.

The Afghan government has not yet responded to the visit.
