Although approximately 2.5 months have passed after the sit-in protest started by the Turkmen in front of the Belh governorship, no news from the child is still being heard.

President Eşref Gani recently ordered the Balkh governor’s office to release the child as soon as possible, and despite the days gone by, no positive result has been achieved.

Afghanistan Turkmens, on the other hand, continue their protests despite everything.

Last year, a Turkmen youth was kidnapped and martyred in Balkh province.
