4 people died in gold mine accident in Afghanistan

Four people died in the collapse in the gold mine in the Badahşan province in the northeast of Afghanistan.

Badahshan Police Department spokesperson Sanaullah Rohani said that 4 miners died and three people were injured in the collapse caused by heavy snow and rain in the gold mine in the district of Ragistan in Badahşan.

Many workers die every year due to accidents in many mines operated without adequate security measures in Afghanistan.
