Turkmenistan is repairing the tomb of Sultan Husain Bayqara in Herat

Acting Minister of Information and Culture Mohammad Tahir Zahair met today with Turkmen Ambassador to Kabul Khawaja Awadov to discuss the development of cultural relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the diploma of Engineer Abdul Ahad Abbasi, Acting Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts and Cultural Affairs of the Turkmen Embassy, and discussed the development of cultural relations between the two countries.
The Ambassador of Turkmenistan assured his country’s readiness to develop cultural cooperation, especially the reconstruction and restoration of the tomb of Sultan Hussein Bayqara, and stressed the need to draft and sign a memorandum of development for cultural cooperation between the Ministry of Information and Culture and cultural officials.
He noted that cultural programs, especially cultural week, will be held in Afghanistan and Turkmenistan, as well as in Afghanistan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.
The Turkmen ambassador assured of his country’s cooperation in the mentioned cases and noted that they will first repair and rebuild the tomb of Sultan Husain Bayqara in Herat.
