Five people were killed when a coal mine collapsed in Baghlan

Local sources in Baghlan report that five miners were killed when part of a coal mine collapsed in the province.

Javed Besharat; Baghlan police spokesman said the incident took place in a coal mine in the Chenarak area of ​​Nahrin district.

He said five workers were killed and four others were trapped under the rubble.

He added that forces had arrived to help the area and were trying to rescue those trapped under the rubble.
