The Afghanistan under-17 women’s soccer team lost to Iran
The Afghanistan under-17 women’s soccer team lost 0 to 6 in a game against Iran on Friday.
The team left Kabul for Tajikistan at noon on Wednesday to compete in the Central Asian Games, according to a newsletter from the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
The Central Asian Women’s Under-17 Football Championship will be held from June 30 to July 9 at the Central Stadium in Dushanbe.
The national teams of Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are playing in the league.
The Turkmen national football team did not participate in the tournament due to Covid-19 conditions.
Two referees from Afghanistan will judge the competition, Farahnaz Jalali and Sonia Nouri, two referees of the Afghanistan Football Federation, have been invited to referee the games.
