An explosion in Helmand killed and wounded nine civilians
Sources in Helmand report that nine civilians were killed and injured when a roadside bomb exploded in the province.
A member of the Helmand Provincial Council says that a vehicle was targeted by a roadside bomb in the third district of Lashkar Gah this morning.
The provincial council member added that the vehicle was traveling to Lashkar Gah and had 9 passengers.
According to him, all the occupants of the car were killed or injured in the blast, including women and children.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.
