Turkish and Russian president’s talk on the phone about Afghanistan

According to the Anatolian News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin about Afghanistan that the new government of Afghanistan should be inclusive and include the opinion of the majority of the people.
He also stressed that Turkey is ready to take over the management of Kabul Airport if the right conditions are created in the future.
“This responsibility that Turkey will take on will allay the concerns of all parties, especially the international community and the people of Afghanistan,” he said.
Referring to the Afghan peace talks, Erdogan said: “During this process, the channels of dialogue with the Taliban should be kept open and a gradual engagement should be pursued instead of an approach based on difficult conditions.”
Meanwhile, a few days ago, a Taliban spokesman said that the next government will include prominent people from the people and from the previous government.
