Putin: Terrorists from Iraq and Syria are gathering in Afghanistan

The Russian president has said that the stability of the Commonwealth of Independent States could be shattered by terrorists gathering in Afghanistan from Iraq and Syria.
According to Sputnik, Russian President Vladimir Putin said yesterday: “In this regard, it is important to constantly monitor Afghanistan’s borders and be prepared to deal with militants, so law enforcement and security should be coordinated if necessary. “Let them carry out joint special operations.”
Putin has said that the situation in Afghanistan is difficult and complicated due to the withdrawal of US troops from the country and the operation of the terrorist group ISIS.
“We will, of course, address this at the forthcoming summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States,” he said.
