The President of Turkey paid an official visit to Turkmenistan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan left Istanbul Ataturk Airport today for an official visit to the Turkmen capital Ashgabat.

Following official visits to Turkmenistan, the Turkish President will attend the 15th Summit of the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), to be held tomorrow under the title “Together Towards the Future”, chaired by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who will hand over the rotating presidency to Turkmen Prime Minister Berdymukhamedov, is expected to hold bilateral talks with some of the leaders of the participating countries on the sidelines of the summit.
