Turkey sent 4 trucks of medicine to Afghan hospitals

The Turkish Foundation for Humanitarian Cooperation (IHH) sent four trucks of medicine to Afghan hospitals.
The foundation said in a statement that four vehicles carrying medicines had been sent to Kabul, Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif and Kandahar hospitals, which were severely short of medicines.
“The people of Afghanistan continue to live in difficult conditions. For years, occupation and war have wreaked havoc in the country,” the statement said. “About 13 million people in Afghanistan are in urgent need of help, and the country’s hospitals are in dire need of medicine.”
The foundation said the trucks were expected to arrive in Afghanistan in 10 to 12 days.
It should be noted that the Turkish Humanitarian Aid (IHH) started its activities in Afghanistan in 2021 under the slogan “Do not leave alone”.
