Turkey sends first convoy of humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Turkish Red Crescent officials have announced the dispatch of the first convoy of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
The head of the Turkish Red Crescent, Karam Kinink, said in a statement that the first convoy carrying Turkish humanitarian aid would be sent to Ukraine.
He added that the aid would be sent to Ukraine at the request of the Ukrainian Red Cross from Turkish Red Crescent.
According to him, these aids are a total of three trailers, including tents, blankets, mattresses and sleeping bags.
Turkey is sending the aid package to Ukraine as tensions between the Ukraine and Russia have forced hundreds of people to flee their homes and now in urgent need of assistance.
