Denmark stressed the need for continued humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan

The Danish Refugee Council has called for continued humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan and called for support for internally displaced persons in Afghanistan.
“Humanitarian aid to Afghanistan must continue,” said Shalt Selenti, head of the Danish Refugee Council.
“We have taken care of many people living in rural areas and internally displaced persons,” he said. “Human rights, such as food and non-food, are fundamental to survival, as well as support for the revitalization of the economy and livelihoods of both IDPs and the communities we host.”
He stressed, however, that humanitarian aid to Afghanistan could not alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the country.
However so far, the UN has provided more than $ 650 million in cash to Afghanistan, but it has not been able to eradicate the current crisis from the country.
