Britain urged its citizens not to travel to Afghanistan

The British Foreign Office has asked its citizens not to travel to Afghanistan due to the poor security situation.
In a statement issued yesterday, the ministry called on its citizens and the Commonwealth of Independent States not to travel to Afghanistan, saying that the security situation in Afghanistan was not good and that terrorist attacks were possible across the country.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a telephone conversation with his Tajik counterpart that he was concerned about ISIL’s influence in Afghanistan and said he believed the group had a strong presence in northern Afghanistan.
On the other hand, Pakistan and Iran claim that the perpetrators of the terrorist attacks on Shiite worshipers in Peshawar and Iranian clerics in the shrine of Imam Reza were Afghan nationals.
However, Taliban officials have repeatedly said that Afghanistan is not a home of terrorist groups and that security is guaranteed throughout the country.
