Sweden increased its aid to Afghanistan

Sweden has increased its aid to Afghanistan, says the United Nations Office for the
Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
Sweden tweeted 70 million kronor ($ 7.2 million) in aid to the Afghan people, the agency said in a tweet today.
According to the agency, the aid was paid to the Afghanistan Aid Fund for 2022 by Sweden.
The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) also today issued a statement thanked to Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Andorra, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, the Philippines, Sweden and Switzerland to their Humanitarian support in Afghanistan.
However, after the fall of the previous Afghan government and the cessation of humanitarian aid, the people of this country are in a difficult situation.
