Continued reactions to Pakistani attacks on Afghan territory; Karzai: This action of Islamabad is human crime

Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said in response to Pakistani airstrikes on Kunar and Khost that Islamabad’s move violates international principles, violates Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and is a crime against humanity.
“We call on Pakistan to change its policy towards Afghanistan, to fight terrorism in a region that has been sacrificing the Afghan people for years and establish good relations with Afghanistan” he said in a statement.
One day ago, Pakistani troops bombed four villages in the Spiri district of Khost province and residential areas in the Sheltan district of Kunar province, killing and wounding scores of civilians, including women and children.
Some sources say the attacks were apparently in response to the killing of seven Pakistani soldiers by the Pakistani Taliban in North Waziristan, and that the attacks were organized against the Pakistani Taliban.
