The United Nations and the United States condemned the attacks in western Kabul

Reacting to the attacks in western Kabul, the UN Secretary-General said that attacking civilians was against international humanitarian law.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres tweeted in response to yesterday’s attacks on two training centers in western Kabul, condemning the attacks and saying that attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, including schools, were against international humanitarian law.
In a statement issued in response to the attacks in western Kabul, the US State Department also said that the United States was joining the international community in expressing its anger in response to the horrific attacks on the Mumtaz Educational Center and the Abdul Rahim Shahid School in Kabul.
Three consecutive explosions took place in western Kabul yesterday, one of which took place at a high school in the Qala-e-Naw area as a result of a hand grenade and two other powerful explosions at Abdul Rahim Shahid High School.
Official sources have not yet released the final death toll from the blasts. But hospital statistics show that at least 50 students were killed and more than 70 others were injured in the attacks.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
