Iran: US involved in recent attacks in Afghanistan

Following the recent attacks in different provinces of Afghanistan, the Speaker of the Iranian House of Representatives has claimed that the United States is using ISIL to intensify terrorist attacks in this country.

According to Tasnim News Agency, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian House of Representatives, said yesterday: “The United States is using ISIS to create insecurity in Afghanistan in order to plunge the oppressed people of this country into an unprecedented crisis by creating ethnic-religious sedition in this country.”.

He also stressed that the Taliban had failed to provide security in Afghanistan, adding that the United States was using ISIS to create insecurity in the country.

According to him, the establishment of an inclusive government in Afghanistan that includes all ethnic groups is a basic need to ensure lasting security in the country.

It is noteworthy that in the recent attacks in Afghanistan, most of the Hazara tribes were targeted, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.
