The Presidents of Turkey and Kazakhstan, during a meeting in Ankara, stressed the need to upgrade relations between the two countries to the level of advanced strategic partnership.
A joint statement on strengthening strategic co-operation between Turkey and Kazakhstan, issued after the meeting between Presidents Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President Qasim Komart Tokayev at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, stressed the importance of upgrading relations between the two countries to the level of advanced strategic partnership.
In this meeting, it was also emphasized that Political, military, defense, security, economic, trade, investment, industrial, mining, tourism, energy, environment, transportation, aviation, family and social services will also be strengthened.
During the meeting, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed support for comprehensive reforms in Kazakhstan led by Tokayev.
The two presidents also stressed the importance of further strengthening the contractual framework to deepen economic and trade cooperation and diversify trade, and the importance of communication in the private sector.
