US chief of Staff: If we see a threat from Afghanistan, we are ready to attack that country

The US military chief says the US government is ready to attack Afghanistan if it sees a security threat.
Mark Millie, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said in a statement that the United States would be able to conduct a military operation in Afghanistan if it saw a security threat.
Meanwhile, the director of the US military intelligence service said in an interview that the activities, targeted attacks and the possibility of ISIL infiltrating Afghanistan are worrying.
“I am concerned about the Khorasan branch of ISIS in Afghanistan,” said Gen. Scott Breyer, director of the US military intelligence service. It is a fact that ISIL has been able to carry out deadly and catastrophic attacks in Afghanistan.
US officials have repeatedly expressed concern about the possibility of increasing the influence of ISIS and al-Qaeda after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.
