Russia: US transfer of Afghan helicopters to Ukraine violates international law

The head of “Russian Abaron Expert” says that the transfer of US-supplied helicopters to Afghanistan to Ukraine is a violation of international law.
According to Sputnik, the head of “Russian Abaron Expert” Alexander Mikheev said in a meeting today that the transfer of US-assigned helicopters to the former Afghan government to Ukraine is a violation of international law and the agreement between Russia and the United States.
Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation has previously reacted to the US decision to send Afghan helicopters to Ukraine, saying the US move was a gross violation of international law.
A statement from Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation said, “The United States’ voluntary decision to transfer Afghan helicopters to Ukraine violates the principles of international law and the provisions of the Russia-US agreement.”
Earlier, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby announced the transfer of another package of US military aid to Ukraine, including 11 Mil-17 helicopters.
