Imran Khan called on his supporters to protest peacefully

The former Pakistani prime minister has called on his supporters to stage peaceful protests calling for elections.
In a speech in Peshawar, former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan called on his supporters to stage peaceful protests and said he would not accept a new government.
Khan said the rally would take place on May 25 and called on his supporters to join the rally.
Pakistan’s ousted Prime Minister Imran Khan has previously called for an immediate election.
Khan was ousted as prime minister by a vote of no confidence in Pakistan’s parliament, and Shahbaz Sharif was appointed the country’s new prime minister.
