In a meeting with Mottaqi, the Turkish ambassador stressed his country’s continued assistance to Afghanistan

The Taliban Foreign Ministry announced that the Turkish ambassador in Kabul, in a meeting with Amir Khan Mottaqi, the acting head of the Taliban Foreign Ministry, stressed that his country would continue to send humanitarian aid to the Afghan people.

According to a statement from the Taliban Foreign Ministry, Jihad Erginai the Turkish ambassador to Kabul also said that relations between Afghanistan and Turkey were expanding and that Turkey had helped the Afghan people and would continue to do so.

He added that he is trying to encourage Turkish businessmen to invest in Afghanistan and is trying to further expand relations between Turkey and Afghanistan.

According to a statement, Amir Khan Mottaqi, the Taliban’s acting foreign minister also thanked Turkey for its assistance to Afghanistan and promised that the Islamic Emirate would provide Turkish businessmen with the opportunity to invest in Afghanistan.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the need for continued cooperation between Turkey and Afghanistan.
