A high-ranking Indian delegation arrived in Kabul to monitor the country’s aid to Afghanistan

The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the visit of a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Kabul to monitor the process of sending humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
The Indian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that a high-level delegation from the ministry was currently in Kabul to oversee the delivery of Indian humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
During the visit to Kabul, the delegation will meet with representatives of international organizations involved in the distribution of humanitarian aid, and in addition, the team is expected to visit various locations where Indian projects are being implemented, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, the team will also meet with senior Taliban members to discuss India’s humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
The Indian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it had decided to increase humanitarian aid to the Afghan people, adding that the Indian government had already delivered several consignments of humanitarian aid, including 20,000 tonnes of wheat, 13 tonnes of medicine, 500,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine and winter cloths.
