China helped the victims of the earthquake in Afghanistan with cash and food

Bakhtar state news agency reported that China has provided food, non-food items and cash to the victims of the earthquake in Afghanistan.

These aids, which include 18 tons of food and non-food items and 200 thousand US dollars, were delivered today by Wang Yu, the Chinese ambassador in Kabul, to Maulvi Matiullah Mukhlis, the head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, in order to reach the victims of the recent earthquake.

A week ago, Wang Wenbin, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said that his country will send humanitarian aid worth 7.5 million dollars to the victims of the earthquake in Afghanistan.

Emphasizing that the recent earthquake was the strongest earthquake in the last 20 years in Afghanistan, he said that after the earthquake, his country decided to send emergency humanitarian aid worth 50 million yuan to the victims of this earthquake in Afghanistan.

According to officials of the Ministry of Combating Natural Disasters, more than 1,006 people were killed in the provinces of Paktika, Khost and Nangarhar and 3,006 others were injured in the recent earthquake that shook parts of Afghanistan.

Also, according to the announcement of this ministry, more than 17,000 houses were destroyed as a result of this event, and a large number of animals were also lost.
