Russia waived the tax on Afghan goods

The special representative of the President of Russia for Afghanistan says that his country has exempted the tariff for the import of goods from Afghanistan.
According to Sputnik, Zamir Kabulov, the special representative of the Russian President for Afghanistan affairs, said today in his speech at the international conference that was held in Tashkent: As an initiative step, the Russian government reduced the customs duties for Afghan imports to zero. In addition, we have already received a list from the Ministry of Commerce of Afghanistan on the goods that Afghanistan is primarily interested in.
In this meeting, Kabulov also announced his country’s readiness to negotiate and meet the request of the Afghan government and added that Russia will do everything possible from a practical point of view.
He added: We know very well that these measures are not enough and we are determined to establish economic, commercial and economic cooperation with the Afghan authorities.
The international meeting on Afghanistan under the title “Afghanistan: Security and Economic Development” began in Tashkent today (Tuesday) with the presence of the Taliban delegation and representatives of about 20 countries and international organizations.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that about 100 foreign delegations including Russia, Central Asian countries, European Union, China, Pakistan, America, Turkey, heads of the United Nations and its legal institutions and representatives of international financial institutions will participate in this conference.
According to him, the conference will continue to discuss the release of Afghanistan’s foreign exchange reserves and the implementation of infrastructure projects in the transportation, communication and energy sectors in this country.
