The Trans-Afghanistan Railway will be completed in the next 5 years

The deputy of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Uzbekistan says that the Termez-Mazar-e-Sharif-Kabul-Peshawar railway line will be completed in the next 5 years and the investigations in this field will be carried out from next month.
Churif Jesour, Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan, said at the Taashkand meeting about the Temrez-Mazar-e-Sharif-Kabul-Peshawar railway line: The investigations will begin in early August and will be completed by early September.
He added that after the completion of the investigation, feasibility studies of the project will be carried out to choose the tender of the company that is the party to the contract.
The budget of the Trans-Afghanistan Railway is estimated at 4.8 billion dollars and it is supposed to cover 760 kilometers and have 33 railway bridges and 3 stations.
