The Indian Foreign Minister emphasized on the continuation of his country’s aid to Afghanistan

The foreign minister of India has said that his country continues to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan.
In the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Indian Foreign Minister Supramaniam G. Shankar said that his country continues to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan in the form of sending wheat, medicine, vaccines and clothes.
He wrote on his Twitter that he also emphasized India’s position towards Afghanistan and the continuation of humanitarian aid to the people of this country during the meeting with the Uzbekistan officials in Tashkent.
He also added that at the Shanghai cooperation meeting in Tashkent, he called for immediate attention to the conflict in Ukraine, the corona epidemic, and food and energy security in the world.
The meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held in Tashkent on Friday.
