In a message, the Secretary General of the United Nations has condemned yesterday’s explosion at the cricket stadium in Kabul.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres tweeted that attacking civilians and civilian objects is prohibited under international humanitarian law.

Yesterday (Friday), an explosion occurred at the International Cricket Stadium in Kabul when the Shepgizeh League was being played among the spectators.

Taliban officials have announced that 4 people were injured as a result of this explosion, but the officials at the Kabul Emergency Hospital say that 13 injured people have been transferred to the said hospital.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for yesterday’s explosion at the cricket stadium in Kabul.
