Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan: Hirmand water reached Sistan

Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan says that the water released from Afghanistan entered Iran’s Sistan.

Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan, says that with the interaction of Samar Bakhsh, the water released from the Afghan side has entered Iran’s Sistan.

According to him, consultations will continue for the continuity and establishment of a stable flow of water.

Yesterday the Taliban have opened the Kamal Khan dam in Nimroz to the Lashkari stream and towards Iran.

We remind you that before this, Amir Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, said that his country will not pass even a single drop of historical and border water rights from the Hirmand River.
