In an interview with CGTN, Martin Griffiths, the head of humanitarian aid of the United Nations, said that humanitarian aid alone cannot solve the crisis in Afghanistan, and to solve this crisis, the economic system, banking system and basic services in this country need to be strengthened.

In this interview, he said that currently 19 million people are facing hunger in Afghanistan and 6.6 million people need urgent help.

The United Nations has already warned that the people of Afghanistan are facing a cold and difficult winter this year.

On the other hand, this year, natural disasters, such as the Madhesh floods, have caused huge human and financial losses to the residents of the mentioned provinces in most provinces of the country.
