Kabul and Moscow agreed on the purchase of oil and gas

Acting Minister of Industry and Trade has announced the agreement with Moscow regarding the purchase of oil and gas and says that the agreement will be signed soon.

Nuruddin Azizi, acting minister of industry and commerce of the Taliban, told the media that Kabul has reached an agreement with Moscow regarding the purchase of oil and gas and the agreement will be signed soon.

Having just returned from Russia, he said: Some of our technical teams are still present in Russia and want to work on the details, such as what kind of money transfers we can have.

According to Mr. Azizi, because many banks in Russia and Afghanistan are under sanctions, money will be transferred through a third country.

The Acting Minister of Industry and Trade announced his meeting with the President of Tatarstan during his trip to Russia and said: We invited the President of Tatarstan to Afghanistan, he is ready and willing to accept our official invitation and may soon leave for Afghanistan. and we will still sign some official agreements in Afghanistan.

It should be mentioned that most of Afghanistan’s imports from Russia are food and oil, and the amount of trade between the two countries reaches 200 million dollars per year.
