The Russian Foreign Ministry has condemned the attack on the country’s embassy in Kabul and announced that the organizers of this attack should be identified and punished.
According to Sputnik, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow expects the organizers of the attack on the country’s embassy in Kabul to be identified and punished soon.
Meanwhile, the Taliban’s foreign ministry has also strongly condemned the attack on the Russian embassy in Kabul.
The ministry wrote in a tweet that the security agencies of this group have started a comprehensive investigation regarding this attack and will take more serious measures for the security of the embassy so that such possible threats do not hinder the work of the embassy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban added that the government of this group has close relations with the Russian Federation and they will not allow such negative actions of the enemies to have a negative impact on the relations between the two countries.
According to the announcement of the Taliban security command in Kabul, a suicide bomber who intended to detonate himself in front of the Russian Embassy was targeted by the security forces and caused the explosion.
The announcement of this command states that as a result of this incident, one person was killed and 10 others were injured.
However, so far, no group has claimed responsibility for this attack.
