UNAMA expressed concern about human rights violations in Afghanistan by the Taliban

The United Nations Assistance Mission (UNAMA) has expressed concern over human rights violations by the Taliban in Panjshir and other provinces of Afghanistan.

UNAMA said in a statement that the organization is deeply concerned about the recent allegations of serious human rights violations in Panjshir and other places in Afghanistan.

UNAMA demanded that the perpetrators of these crimes be brought to justice and added that this organization is monitoring the situation.

David Martinon, the French ambassador to Afghanistan, also reposted a video of the prisoners of war of the Resistance Front in Panjshir and wrote on his Twitter that the Taliban executed the prisoners in Panjshir and thus committed a war crime.

According to reports, during the last few days, the Taliban have shot several prisoners of the resistance front in Panjshir province.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of this group, claimed in a tweet that at least 40 members of the National Resistance Front were killed in Panjshir and more than 100 others were captured.
