Taliban: In the next few weeks, oil and food items purchased from Russia will enter the country

The Taliban’s Ministry of Economy says in a statement that oil and food items purchased from Russia will enter the country in the next few weeks as part of a contract signed with Russia.
In the announcement of the Ministry of Economy of the Taliban, it is stated that in the month of Cancer of this year, a delegation consisting of subordinate departments led by the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of this group signed various contracts for the purchase of raw materials such as wheat and petroleum products for the next year with Russia.
The ministry said that based on these contracts, it is planned to enter the Afghan markets in the next few weeks for the import of raw materials including this contract.
Recently, Nouruddin Azizi, the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban announced the signing of the contract to import oil, gas and wheat from Russia to Afghanistan and said that this contract was signed temporarily.
He added that according to this agreement, one million tons of petrol, one million tons of diesel, 500 thousand tons of gas and two million tons of wheat will be imported from Russia to Afghanistan.
