Taliban: Doctors do not have the right to write a prescription for a particular pharmacy

The Ministry of Public Health of the Taliban has announced that doctors are not allowed to write Shafri prescriptions to pharmacies.
In a statement, the ministry said that after this, no doctor has the right to write an unprincipled and illegal prescription for a specific pharmacy based on relations with pharmacies.
The Ministry of Public Health added that this decision was taken in order to implement health rules and principles and will soon be informed by sending an official letter to all departments.
This is while residents of most provinces of Afghanistan have complained that doctors write prescriptions for a specific pharmacy based on their relationships with pharmacies.
