The transit of petroleum products from Iran to Afghanistan was extended for 4 months

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Taliban has announced that the transit of petroleum products from Iran to Afghanistan has been extended for another 4 months.
The ministry said in a statement that based on ongoing talks between the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s special envoy for Afghanistan affairs, the transit of petroleum products from that country to Afghanistan has been extended for another 4 months.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade welcomed this action of Iran and said that the officials of this ministry are trying to use all the necessary tools to open the import routes and will prevent the shortage of petroleum and essential materials.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Industry and Trade had also announced before signing a contract to import oil and food from Russia to Afghanistan.
