Faiq: The United Nations has faced challenges in solving international conflicts

The permanent representative of Afghanistan in the United Nations says that this organization has faced challenges in solving international conflicts.

Nasir Ahmed Faiq, head of Afghanistan’s permanent mission, wrote in a tweet yesterday that the United Nations has faced challenges in researching the goals of its charter, especially solving international conflicts.

Mr. Faiq wrote: “Today, the implementation of the United Nations Charter is celebrated, and this is while the United Nations has faced challenges in achieving the goals of the United Nations Charter, especially preventing and resolving international conflicts. The crisis in Ukraine and Afghanistan is a clear example of this”

The head of Afghanistan’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations added that the United Nations, as the only credible organization, plays a key role in implementing the sustainable development agenda, including poverty alleviation, gender equality, climate change, education and providing humanitarian aid, especially for developing and conflict-affected countries and it is important.

It should be mentioned that October 24 has been named as the United Nations Day.
