The Qatari ambassador met with the acting foreign minister of the Taliban

The spokesman of the Taliban’s foreign ministry says that Qatar’s ambassador to Afghanistan met with Amir Khan Motaghi, the head of the ministry.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban wrote in a tweet that during this meeting Saeed bin Mubarak Al-Khyareen, the ambassador of Qatar to Afghanistan, said that his country plans to open an office of the Qatar Charity Foundation in Afghanistan and they will do this with the approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this way, they will provide the necessary assistance to the needy, widows and orphans.
The ambassador of Qatar also added that his country wants to further strengthen relations with Afghanistan.
According to the spokesman of the Taliban’s foreign ministry, in this meeting, Amir Khan Motaghi, acting head of the ministry, while expressing his gratitude for Qatar’s cooperation, assured full cooperation for the activities of the charity institutions of that country.
