Unknown people destroyed the tomb of Mullah Naqibullah Akhund in Kandahar

Sources in Kandahar say that the tomb of Mullah Naqib Akhund in this province was destroyed by unknown people.

By publishing pictures of the tomb of Mullah Naqib Akhund, which is located in the center of Arghandab district of Kandahar province, these sources say that this tomb was destroyed by unknown people and then excavated.

According to them, there is a Taliban security post near this tomb, but the perpetrators of this act have not been identified so far.

The local Taliban officials in Kandahar have not said anything about this so far.

Mullah Naqibullah Akhund was one of the former jihadist figures in Kandahar and the father of Kalimullah Naqibi, a member of the peace negotiation team of the previous government.
