The electricity company announced the cut of an electric circuit imported from Uzbekistan

Officials of the Afghanistan Electricity Supply Company say that due to technical problems, one of the electricity circuits imported from Uzbekistan has been cut off.

Officials of Breshna Company say that one of the electricity circuits imported from Uzbekistan was cut off due to a technical problem and will be reactivated in two days.

Afghanistan buys most of its electricity consumption from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Iran and imports it through electricity transmission networks.

According to the statistics provided, this country buys 280 million dollars of electricity from its neighboring countries every year.
