American officials called ISIS the biggest terrorist threat in Afghanistan

Officials of the US National Counter-Terrorism Center say that ISIS is currently one of the biggest terrorist threats in Afghanistan.

Christian Abi Zaid, the director of the US National Counter-Terrorism Center, expressed his concern about the threats of the ISIS group in Afghanistan at the conference of the House of Representatives of this country and said that this group has proven that it has very significant capabilities against the Taliban.

“I am concerned about their willingness to carry out larger attacks in a larger area. For us, this is very important,” he said.

Christopher Ray, the director of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) also shared his concern about the terrorist threats of the ISIS group in Afghanistan.

However, Taliban officials have already said that no terrorist group is present in Afghanistan and the country is fully secure.
