A person committed suicide by shooting himself in Paktia

Local officials in Paktia say that a young man in this province has ended his life with a bullet.

Officials in the Taliban security command in Paktia say that this young man named Halimullah committed suicide yesterday in Sarokhil village of Gardasiri district of this province.

According to them, the cause of this young man’s suicide is still unknown and investigations have been started in this regard.

It should be mentioned that the number of suicides has increased in most provinces of Afghanistan during the last year, and poverty, unemployment and family violence have been cited as the causes.
