Taliban in response to UNAMA announcement: One out of every three women in America experiences violence

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban reacted to the UNAMA report that Afghanistan has the highest rate of violence against women and called it wrong.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the Taliban’s foreign ministry, in response to the UNAMA report that Afghanistan has the highest number of violence against women, wrote that 1 out of every 3 women in the United States experiences rape and violence, and this is the case with other governments. Democratic is also true.
The spokesman of the Taliban’s foreign ministry emphasized that there is the highest level of violence and aggression against women in democratic systems, adding that Islamic governments are obliged to put in place measures to protect women from the same fate.
Yesterday, the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) in a statement called Afghanistan a country with the highest figures of violence against women and said that since the summer of 2021, many of the most basic rights of women have been restricted or canceled in this country.
The announcement quoted Roza Otenbayeva, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, as saying: “The fundamental rights of Afghan women must be protected and concrete steps must be taken to create an enabling environment free from any form of violence.”
In this announcement, UNAMA asked the ruling authorities in Afghanistan to take immediate steps to end violence against women in this country.
