The Taliban informed the charge d’affaires of the Pakistani embassy in Kabul about the arrest of an attacker

The spokesman of the Taliban security command in Kabul says that they have arrested one of the attackers on the charge d’affaires of the Pakistani embassy in Kabul.

Khaled Zadran, the spokesman of the Taliban security command for Kabul, has announced in a tweet that one of the attackers of the Pakistani embassy in Kabul has been arrested.

He wrote: “In Kart Parwan area of Kabul city, shootings were fired from a building towards the Pakistan Embassy. Security forces immediately reached the area and prevented the shooting from continuing. During the clearing operation, one suspect was arrested from this building and two weapon was also found.

He added that the security forces have started further investigations in this case.

In response to this attack, Pakistan asked the Taliban to identify and arrest the perpetrators.
