Thomas West asked Japan to help Afghanistan

America’s special representative for Afghanistan asked Japan to help Afghanistan and said that this country needs Japan’s help.

In a tweet, Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, announced his trip to Japan and said that Afghanistan needs Japan’s help.

He wrote: “Afghanistan will still need Japan’s expertise and diverse assistance.”

Mr. West added: “Japan has been a friend of the Afghan people and our partner there for more than 20 years, and we deeply appreciate Japan’s active diplomacy and continued generosity today.”

The US special representative has already visited several countries and talked about Afghanistan issues with the officials of those countries.
