UNAMA condemned the attack on Chinese citizens in Kabul

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has condemned the attack on Chinese diplomats and businessmen in Kabul.

UNAMA said in a statement that it strongly condemns Monday’s attack on a hotel in Kabul, which resulted in casualties among civilians, including Chinese nationals.

This organization expressed sympathy with the victims of this event and added that violence in Afghanistan has no purpose other than prolonging the suffering of more than 40 years of war.

As a result of Monday’s attack on a hotel in Kabul where Chinese citizens were present, 3 people were killed and about 18 others were injured.

The ISIS terrorist group has taken responsibility for this attack and has published images of the perpetrators of this event in a video.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China also confirmed that 5 Chinese citizens were wounded in this attack and asked its citizens to leave Afghanistan as soon as possible.
