Imported electricity from Turkmenistan was temporarily connected to Herat

The Taliban spokesman said that the electricity imported from Turkmenistan was connected to Herat through a temporary route.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the caretaker government of the Taliban, wrote in a tweet that the electricity imported from Turkmenistan to Herat province is connected to Herat through a temporary line and the need of that province will be met for the time being.
According to him, the repair of the main line that connects the imported electricity from Turkmenistan to Herat will also be completed soon.
Earlier, the Afghanistan Electricity Company (Birshna) had announced that the main line connecting Turkmenistan to Herat province was cut off as a result of the storm and snowfall.
