Hamid Karzai met with the Foreign Minister of Turkey

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has announced his meeting with Hamid Karzai, the former president of Afghanistan.

In a tweet, Turkish Foreign Minister announced the continuation of his country’s cooperation with Afghanistan and wrote that he was hosted by the former president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai.

He wrote: “Our solidarity with the Afghan people and support for the stability of Afghanistan will continue.”

According to his relatives, Mr. Karzai went to Germany for treatment about two weeks ago, and this is his first trip abroad after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.

During his trip, Mr. Karzai met with a number of politicians of the former Afghan government in Germany and Turkey.
