The Taliban closed the gates of universities to girls

In a new order, the Ministry of Higher Education of the caretaker government of the Taliban has suspended the courses of all universities in the country for girls.

In an official letter from Sheikh Maulvi Nada Mohammad Nadim, the Acting Ministry of Higher Education of the Taliban, all public and private universities in Afghanistan have been ordered to suspend the education of all girls.

In this letter, it is also emphasized that all universities should implement this order urgently and assure the Ministry of Higher Education of their actions.

It is worth mentioning that after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, they closed the gates of all schools to girls above the sixth grade.

This group has also imposed many restrictions against human rights, including the rights of women and girls.
